Anyang Art City 21 Project

  • This project aims at a beautiful city, an art city and a well-being city by adding virtuosity to the exterior of city buildings and harmonizing the city sight with natural environment. It also aims at turning Anyang into a competitive city in the domestic and abroad by improving the quality of civil life and creating high level cultural assets.

  • Taking the characteristics of Anyang as a dense population city within Metropolitan area into consideration, this project has been attempted with a long term vision under the recognition that great efforts should be exerted to improve the quality of civil life.
Anyang Art City 21

In accordance with the policy of 『Anyang Art City 21』project having been carried out since 2002, <Public Art Project> was introduced for the first time domestically following the composing projects such as<City with Beautiful Buildings>and<Street with beautiful advertisements>.

The first APAP in 2005 transformed the Anyang amusement park into an international sight and created Anyang Art Park. Based on these accomplishments, the second project was promoted with the object of Pyeongchon new city.
