    • Regional characteristics : Anyang is one of the eight ancient cities of China. Shell-and-bone characters and bronze-ware were found in the city. Anyang is known to have descended from Yinxu, the Capital of Yin Dynasty (or Shang Dynasty)

    • As the birthplace of Zhou Yi (周易), Anyang is the city of World Cultural Heritage as well as the 2nd largest city of Henan Province. .

    • Every September, an aviation festival takes place in the city. Anyang is rising as a hub of production and distribution, as it has a well-established traffic network, including railroads and expressways, which are connected to Beijing as well as other inland cities of China.
